What are Restylane Silk, Juvederm Volbella and Belotero?
These are soft, smooth, thin facial fillers minimize and shape lips more precisely for a natural and subtle voluminous effect.
What are these fillers indicated for?
Fine line correction that is particularly beneficial as a peri-oral aging option. Ultimately, these “soft fillers” soften the appearance of vertical lip lines or "smoker's lines" around the mouth and precisely shape and define lips for a natural effect, which allows it to create subtle volume.
What occurs during the procedure?
Restylane Silk, Vobella, and Belotero reduce fine lines with a few injections using a small
gauge needle into the peri-oral area.
How long does the procedure take?
Approximately 15-20 minutes
Is it Painful?
A topical anesthetic numbing cream is applied to the skin approximately 20 minutes prior to the procedure. Also, the filler contains lidocaine another anesthetic making this procedure more comfortable.
What is the downtime?
We recommend to our clients to plan ahead by scheduling your treatment a week or two in
advance of any special event. To minimize bruising, stop taking any aspirin, motrin, vitamin E, fish oil supplements, and St. John's Wort. Avoid excess sun exposure. Also, you may want to try oral Arnica supplements pre- and post-treatment.
How long does it last?
The effects are immediate and can last for 6 months.
